Fortiflame® Layer IV fabric is a blend of modacrylic/rayon/ nylon yarns at 8.0 oz./sq. yard. This single-sided fleece fabric is inherently flame resistant and has “0” after flame or melt/drip during test method ASTM D 6413-11. The garment has a smooth outer layer for ease of layering and is soft against the skin for comfort. It will provide maximum protection in extreme environments, while meeting stringent flame resistant standards. Fortiflame® Layer IV fabric will keep the wearer dry from excessive moisture and is treated with an antimicrobial to resist odors.
